AT&T CLP99383 Phone System Review

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Advanced American Telephones for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

CLP99383 is the new three-handset Connect to Cell system released by AT&T. If you are using a landline phone service, this is really a great choice as it brings many high-tech features. Let’s take a look at some key features of the AT&T CLP99383 and how it works.

The system includes three handsets and an onboard voicemail system. The handsets connect to each other and to the base via DECT 6.0 Digital Technology, which will ensure crystal clear and secure connections. I’m very impressed with the range of the handsets. I could stand in the yard and call the other handset without any problem.

The handset looks very nice and easy to use. The keys and display have backlight for usage in dark environments. The phonebook is also synced across all units, so you can use it on any handset. You can access the voicemail from any handset and use some interesting feautures like ad hoc intercom, paging and transferring a call from one handset to another.

Besides, the system includes a backup battery so that you can still use it when there is power outage during a storm or electricity issues. You can also use it to charge your mobile phone just in case.

What’s different in the CLP99383 is the Bluetooth capability. You can connect your cell phone to the system and then use its handsets to make or receive phone calls of your cell phone. When there is an incoming call via your connected cell, the handsets will show that the call is from your linked phone and you can easily answer or ignore it without touching the cell. You can also download contacts in your cell to the phonebook, it allows up to 6,000 entries. Everything is so easy and reduce my workload. You will know when you have a reminder, text, e-mail or Facebook update on your smartphone.

I also find the push-to-talk feature very useful because I can broadcast my voice to any other handsets without dialing and ringing them.

Overall, this is a great system to combine landline and mobile phones in your home. It is easy to set up and use, so I will recommend this product.
