The A1865 is the most desirable version since it’s the global variant equipped with Qualcomm modem chip; it supports both CDMA and GSM networks, so it will work with all carriers in the US including AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon.

iPhone X A1901 details

This A1901 model lacks support for TD-SCDMA and CDMA EV-DO Rev, so it is not fully compatible with Verizon and Sprint network in the US. You can still make calls through VoLTE on Sprint and Verizon but this is a GSM model that performs best on AT&T and T-Mobile. The A1901 is also available in European and Asian countries like the UK, France, Germany, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Spain, Singapore, and Australia.

The iPhone X A1902 is the exclusive model for the Japanese market. The previous iPhone generations have the FeliCa Type-F NFC contactless technology for the Apple Pay service in Japan. However, this is no longer a benefit of the A1902 since all iPhone X models have this technology now. Having said that, the A1902 still covers more bands than any other model. It is available on AU, Docomo, and Softbank.
